Why Egypt

A serious option, for real reasons.

Close to home

A short, affordable flight from Lagos, Khartoum or N'Djamena — not a twelve-hour haul and a visa lottery. You can go home for the holidays, and your family can visit you.

Within reach

Tuition and living costs sit well below the UK, the US or Canada, and public universities cost less again. The whole degree is plannable on a real family budget.

Taught in English

Computing, engineering, business and many health programmes are taught in English — so never having studied in Arabic does not close the door on you.

How it works

Four steps, start to arrival.

  1. 01

    Choose

Programme first, then university. We shortlist what is realistic for your results and budget.

  2. 02

    Prepare

We confirm the current requirements with the university and check every document.

  3. 03

    Apply

We submit through the right route and follow it through to a decision.

  4. 04

    Arrive

Airport pickup, registration, accommodation — and someone to call in year two.

Our promise

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

Admission belongs to universities. Residence belongs to the authorities. Anyone promising either is not telling you the truth.

  • Every fee traced to a source

We publish the university's own figure with the date we checked it, or we say plainly that we have not confirmed one.

  • Never into a personal account

University fees are paid to the university. If anyone asks you to pay an individual, stop and tell us.

For parents

Straight answers, before you send money.

You are being asked to send money, and often a child, to a country you may not know. That deserves answers you can check rather than reassurance you have to take on trust.

Questions we get asked first

Can NIADO guarantee my admission?
No, and neither can anyone else. Admission belongs to the university and residence to the Egyptian authorities. What we do is make sure your application is complete, correct and on time — which is where most applications actually fail.
How much does it cost to study in Egypt?
It depends on the university, the programme and your nationality. We do not publish tuition figures we have not confirmed from an official university announcement, because an out-of-date fee is worse than none. Ask us and we will get you a current written quotation.
Do I need to speak Arabic?
For many programmes, no — a large number are taught in English. It is decided programme by programme, so it must be confirmed for your exact course. Learning some Arabic will still make daily life much easier.
Will my degree be recognised at home?
That is decided by the regulator in the country where you intend to work — the medical council, the bar, the engineering board. Check with them before you enrol, not after you graduate.

Next step

Tell us what you want to study.

Send your results and your budget. We will come back with a realistic shortlist — and say so honestly when something is not a good fit.
